Every year, I create new notebook designs which then become a collection of items in my store..

In 2023, with the rise of AI generation, I started to play with AI generated patterns and prints, using my own ideas. The idea of creating patterns within 10-30 seconds, and being able to use descriptions to generate ideas, and have things from my mind be turned into images in SECONDS -- is well, obviously -- mind blowing!

These are some of my favorite designs from the 2-3 months spent playing with ChatGPT and Dalle-4 and Midjourney AI through discord.

After discussing this excitement with my sister, who is a graphic designer, and can actually draw 10x better than me , it seems that the issues behind AI art continue to perpetuate ideas that creativity is something that does not have a "HIGH VALUE"

And so, for this collection:

Due to the questionable ethical nature of AI art, and the misuse of artists's work without their consent, any profit made from these notebooks, this specific collection, will be donated back to support artists, through art programs, and access to art programming.

We do not agree with the use of copyright without consent, and aim to do what we can to both - create - and give back - with situations where the ethics are questionable.
